We are very grateful for the generous donations from our donors. It is because of them that our Unit continues to be able to provide our youth with activities that make our program fun.
Cash Donations
Your gift is deductible as a charitable donation for federal income tax purposes. Your tax deduction is for 100% of your gift. Your gift supports the programs of the Dunes Young Marines.
Contributions-in-Kind
An office supply store could donate supplies such as copy paper, printing or copy services. A sporting goods store could donate camping equipment or specialized outdoor gear. A shopping center or service station could offer the use of its parking area, water and supplies for a car wash. A transportation company could donate transportation for an encampment. A supermarket or food service could donate food for an encampment or other event. These are just a few of the many ways that you and your company could help out.
Volunteering with the Young Marines
If you would like to donate your time, we have a place for you as a registered adult on our staff. Use the Contact Form if you would like to volunteer with The Dunes Young Marines. One of our officers or staff will get back with you to discuss our needs for volunteers. All registered volunteer with Dunes Young Marines, undergo a background check by the Young Marines National Headquarters. Personal references provided with your application will also be checked. The Young Marines is a nationwide, non-profit youth organization. In 1981 they were granted exemption from federal income tax under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code with a Federal Identification Number of: 38-2346425.
